General information about Hatha Yoga.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
"Hatha" refers to the physical practices of Yoga including:
* the breath
* postures of the body
* quieting the mind
Yoga is believed to have been practiced for more than 4 or 5 thousand years, and there are currently millions of people who practice regularly in the United States. That's a lot of bodies affected by Yoga!
Please keep in mind that the poses are meant to fit you and your unique body and avoid straining to have your body fit a pose. It's best to consult with a doctor before beginning a new Yoga practice or exercise program.
Practice on an empty stomach with bare feet and an open mind.
